Vats Agro
Vats Agro is an initiative committed to delivering chemical-free produce to every household. It is a journey that connects individuals with the soil and inspires farmers to support one another. After working for 9 years in a Fortune 500 company, this idea was born as a heartfelt mission.
The story of Vats Agro began in 2022 with a personal loss when a family member succumbed to cancer. The root cause was traced to harmful chemical intake, leading us to think deeply about how such tragedies could be prevented. While avoiding outside food is possible for a meal, vegetables are essential. This realization sparked the idea of owning a farm to grow our own vegetables, ensuring purity and safety.
As our farm's production increased, we began sharing fresh, chemical-free vegetables with our neighbors, receiving overwhelming appreciation. Motivated by this response, we decided to scale up production while committing exclusively to organic compost for farming. Initially, we sourced vermi compost externally but later started producing it ourselves. Our vision is to encourage every farmer to adopt vermi compost to enrich their soil and contribute to the "Save Soil" initiative led by Sadguru’s Isha Foundation.
